And on that note, another way to really kick start healthy eating and to cleanse, detox, and nourish every cell in your body is to pair a good juicing regimen to your healthy eating habits throughout the week.
When you juice, it breaks up the whole fresh plant based foods that are already good for you into a liquid state so that your body can absorb the nutrients much easier and faster.
So we've provided you with 5 of our favorite healthy juice recipes:)
1.) Pure Cranberry Juice & Whole Beet Juice.
This recipe is phenomenal to clean out your entire body! The cranberry juice will flush out the toxins right through your kidneys, and the beets will give your immune system a BIG boost. Make sure to get 100% pure cranberry juice from your local market and two whole beets. The cranberry juice will be very sour to the taste, but the beets will balance it with their sweet flavor once it is mixed so that it will be enjoyable to drink. If you'd like you can always top it off with some fresh mint leaves for some extra flavor:)
2.) Green Juice
This Juice is all things green!!! And green means good for you! If you take 1 cucumber, 1 apple, 1 handful of spinach or kale, and one kiwi to sweeten your mixutre wa lah! You will have Green Juice! And you will be amazed at how good "good for you" can taste! Not to mention it does wonders for your health! The cucumber will hydrate your skin and organs, the spinach and kale is packed full of nutrients to detox your body and put it in fat burning mode, apples are rich in vitamin c and protect your cells and help lower your risk of choronic diseas, and kiwis aid in wound helaing and help keep your skin healthy, as well as give you more energy!
3.) Classic Carrot & Ginger Juice
This juice will really awaken your digestive system and soothe your gut! Just take 1 carrot, 1 inch of ginger, 1/2 of a lemon, and 1 orange and you'll have a juice that your digestive system will thank you for:)
4.) Pineapple & Mint Juice
This is one of our favorites! It's tropical so it's perfect for Florida, and it beneftis your skin, boosts your immune system, soothes inflamation and an upset stomach, gives you energy, and boosts your mood. Try it out by using 2-3 handfuls of spinach, 2 small cucumbers, a handful of fresh mint, 1/2 of a lime, and 1/4 cup chopped pineapple. It will send your taste buds soaring:)
5.) Metabolism Boost Juice
This juice will ignite your metabolism and send your body into a fat burning detoxing frenzy! If you take 1 apple, 1 inch piece of ginger, 1/2 of a lemon, and 1/2 a teaspoon of cayenne pepper you will see just what we are talking about!
